With the help of the Fondazione Giordano dell’Amore (Milan) we made interviews with representatives of different microfinance institutions in order to get to know the situation of the Italian microfinance sector. First we asked Sabina Siniscalchi, who was the director of Banca Etica from 2003 until 2006 and currently is a member of the Board of Directors of Banca Etica and the Italian Microfinance Network. We also interviewed Heidi Ceffa. She is the Milan area manager for PerMicro SPA, which is the first microcredit organization in Italy, created in 2007. At last but not least we asked Luca Lo Presti, president of the Pangea Onlus Foundation.
